Ultimate Staffing is seeking an MRO Buyer to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The role is 100% onsite.

The MRO Buyer plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operations by sourcing and procuring materials, services, and supplies essential for production, maintenance, and administrative functions. This position involves managing purchasing activities, sourcing replacement parts and equipment, and building strong supplier relationships to support efficient production processes and facility maintenance.

Job Duties:

  • Manage material procurement and order entry to support daily operations.
  • Source and purchase goods and services required for production and maintenance.
  • Utilize procurement tools and systems (IMPC, PMCS, IM MALL, ARIBA, etc.) for tracking and managing purchases.
  • Prepare and release purchase orders based on approved requirements.
  • Request quotations and negotiate the best pricing for materials and services.
  • Register and validate suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Communicate effectively across teams and with suppliers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Apply strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills to optimize procurement processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Demonstrate financial literacy, risk analysis, relationship management, and project management capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience purchasing MRO supplies in a maquiladora or high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in managing overseas suppliers, including knowledge of global logistics and customs processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
  • Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, data analysis).
  • PowerPoint (presentations).
  • Outlook (communication and scheduling).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Planner); Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
